Longer than standard cap head bolt to fit TVR Speed 6 engine. The longer bolt TVR E6022 +10MM has to be cut down to suit individual applications but does typically allow a further 7-8mm of thread to be used to maintain correct torque on cylinder head on the dowelled holes. Given that the dowel tube reduces the available thread by about 10mm on these particular bolt holes these are the ones that are liable to stripping the thread hence these longer bolts. The best way to judge the correct length for this bolt is to screw this bolt into the relevant doweled hole with the head and headgasket in place but without the washer. Reduce the length of the bolt until it screws into this hole up to the head face but with out the washer. Remove the bolt and refit washer and finally torque bolt to correct torque. Note only 2 of these bolts are required for each engine, the remaing 12 bolts should be of the standard length.
